This Privacy Policy explains how L'Église Baptiste du Revêtu du Christ (also called “EBRC,” “we,” “our,” or “the church”) handles personal information collected through ebrcchurch.org. It applies to this website, its contact form, and online giving. It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party services linked from or embedded on the site.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us: we receive the name, email address, optional phone number, topic, reply preference, and message you choose to provide. A prayer request or pastoral-care message may reveal sensitive personal information, so please share only what is necessary for us to respond.

When you give: you select an amount, fund, and whether the gift is one-time or monthly. Stripe collects the donor name, email address, billing details, and payment information needed to complete the transaction. EBRC receives donation and transaction records, but this website does not store complete card or bank-account numbers.

When you visit: our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device data, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. This information helps deliver and protect the site.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to questions and prayer requests, coordinate pastoral care or ministry follow-up, process and administer gifts, provide receipts and giving records, maintain recurring donations, prevent fraud and abuse, secure the website, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and operate the church's ministries.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Prayer requests and pastoral care

Contact-form messages are sent to the church's designated email account and may be shared with the pastoral or ministry leader best able to respond. We treat these messages with care, but we cannot promise legal, medical, or sacramental confidentiality in every situation. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect someone from harm, report suspected abuse where required, respond to a lawful request, or protect the church and its community. This website is not monitored as an emergency service; call 911 when immediate help is needed.

5. Service providers and outside platforms

We use service providers only for legitimate church and website operations. They may process information under their own terms and privacy notices:

• Stripe processes online gifts, recurring payments, fraud checks, and receipts.
• Resend delivers contact-form messages by email.
• Vercel hosts and protects the website.
• Google provides embedded maps and directions.
• YouTube provides embedded and linked video content. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain where available.
• Facebook and other social platforms process information when you follow an external link or interact with their services.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, financial institutions, government authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, or a church organizational transition.

6. Cookies and embedded content

EBRC does not currently use advertising cookies or website analytics cookies. Essential technology may be used to deliver and secure the site. Embedded maps and videos are provided by third parties and may receive technical information or place cookies when their content loads or when you interact with it. You can limit cookies through your browser settings, though some embedded features may stop working. If we later add analytics or advertising technology, we will update this policy and add consent controls where required.

7. Photography, video, and livestreams

Photography, video recording, and livestreaming may occur during worship services and public church events. Images may appear on this website or EBRC's official social channels to document church life and ministry. Parents and guardians should speak with a church leader about children appearing in identifiable media. If you have a concern about an image published by EBRC, contact us with a description or link and we will review the request.

8. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including pastoral follow-up, donation history, tax and accounting records, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to people who need the information for church responsibilities. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children's privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit a contact form or make an online gift without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted through the website, subject to identity verification and any legal or recordkeeping obligations.
